No lah, just to avoid misunderstanding la, many pple here read wat they wan to read and not wat I trying to say.

I rather not go into detail how he lost so many rays at 1 go, reason being these r not my rays & he may not be happy abt it. Just take my word this is a true case & many breeders like myself, we r still learning more abt rays & I myself is v willing to hear & try out new ideas if they sound reasonable & wkable.

Those that stingy on antichlorine, media, water change and food for rays, my advise is ur rays cfm not healthy even they may look healthy

They r just too delicate and fragile, thats y many quit breeding after few yrs cos no $$ to make, (Exclude those hm breeders that hv few rays as they do not really factor in all the cost involved)
Prawns n sotong n mussels I get from wet market.. not frozen. If still got preservatives I really dunno where else to get from le. Any recommendations? Kunning n tamban I fish myself or get from those who fish at jetty daily n sell toman was from supermarket ..on hindsight lucky my rays didn't eat it lol. Silverfish ordered frozen specifically for fish consumption.. should b ideal but my rays dun like.

Water parameters n anti chlorine wise no problems for sure. Water change once every 2 days. Only problem is temp is at 30 degrees... in ur opinion will tat b an issue long term? I'll get a chiller if needed. PH is relatively high at 7.2 to 7.4 but I prefer it that way since tap water is 7.7 to 8. If I drop ph ny further it'll b stressful during WC.

Ny pointers will b appreciated

And any thoughts on feeding with garlic juice? I do that for discus since the allicin acts as a natural dewormer but haven't done for rays as not sure if it's safe

Will 5inch rays take to sotong (cut into thin strips)?

Now on mp diet but think they are getting bored of mp, not as excited nor racing towards food during feeding time.

Any thoughts of long term feeding of kunning, mp, etc....these items contains salt? Will our fw rays have problem for long term consumption of all these seafood that contain salts?
