I just bought a few bichirs. I'm curious about the price range for it, and is it possible to switch it's diet from "live gold fish" to "sinking pallets"?

Hi Wilson6
I have keeping bichirs for sometime, different types. Most of them very adaptable. Diet is like anything that is edible from live fish, pellets, and mp.
For my big lap, it even whack bf.

Hopefully, your bichir is not the special one and soon it will eat.

most of them like 'stinky' food like mp, fish meat (stuchi fillets, ikan bilis or such) and some of them do like sinking pellets as well... Maybe ya endi is till acclimatizing? is he happily resting at the bottom most of the time or very kan jiong hide at the surface of the water or darting around? Sometimes they just need time. They can go without food for weeks if they are healthy so don't worry unless its super skinny/ parasites infested.
