Talking My new fire shrimp and grouper

bought some from a farm today. the colour for the fire shrimp is so intense.

I saw the shrimp in Y618 some weeks ago. They are intese red with dots of white. I was told that they are sulawesi shrimp?

Where is Y618? Alot of variety of fishes and coral? Worth making a trip there?

Bro, I bought 3 Fire Shrimps from here at $20 each after discount.........then ended up 1 shop at Pasir Ris farm is selling at S$10-$12..........but stocks wise have to wait.......Coral Farm usually have stocks for alot of stuff anytime........its whether we can control the urge!!!..........

Bro I don't think Y618 sells any marine livestock? What you have seen is most probably freshwater Sulawesi shrimp which is almost like 1/8 size different compared to the marine fire shrimp.

618 doesnt sell any marine fish bro. They sell fresh water shrimps like CRS fire red all those.

The grouper is from soapfish family. Be careful not to stress it too much, it will release toxic slime.

And u sure your soapfish won't eat your shrimp.. high chance it will one day

oh the shrimp is in another tank. i have 2 exact tank, one with corals the other fish and liverock only. the fish is in with the lion and copperband. about the slime, will it make the water toxic and kill the other fish?
