Default noob here in rearing betta

Hi guys, i never rear betta before, last time used to rear other fishes, but due to work commitments then never rear any liao.

But now got a kid liao so thought of rearing a fish for her to play and learn something and end up thinking of rearing betta because of its colour and also is not so troublesome like other fishes.

The problem is i know nothing about rearing betta, so hopefully you guys can share with me on some basic knowledge regarding rearing of betta

What are the containers to use to rear betta? how big must the containers be? since no need air pump and filter, then how long need to change water? wat is best to feed them? where to buy nice bettas?

you guys can also add on any details which might be helpful and need to take note of... thanks in advance...

For a start, keep those plakats (short-tail) is good. Can get them cheaply from local aquarium shops

Welcome to the betta family bro. Yunfeng at pasir ris farmway has a good variety of start up bettas.
For Rearing : You can use SU830 or any simple cube tank will suffice per betta.
