How severe is this Gill Curl? Need advice
I saw this piece whilst visiting a LFS over the weekend. I can see the potential in this piece, but it has gill curl on one side.
Need expert opinion - how severe is this gill curl? Can op fix this, or has it spread too far on the hard gill plate already? I'm a little bit torn. Your comments are appreciated. |

Bro, imho I would not take the aro. Beside the curved Gill, look at its tail fin & anal fin, pimples are coming out.
This is the result of bad water conditions. |

Its a nice fish if not for the gill curl and pimples. If its offered at a discount (given its poor condition), can consider taking the offer. This piece needs patience to groom up to its potential.
as mentioned, it was offered at a premium, then I agree with friends here to shop around.
