About hikari food for discus.
Hello everyone. This week getting a pair of discus. And is my first time having this fish. Can I know where can I find this food for them? It say better then beefheart.

When the label said "more nutritious than beefheart", I assume it mean plain beefheart. Custom BH can add in any things your discus need at different stages. Which is why most serious discus breeders all custom their own secret formulation of BH meals for their precious.

I'm using hikari discus food too but in tiny pellet form sometimes I wonder if it is mixed with my sudo brown sand are they able to find n eat... And its quite expensive for a small packet. They dont come in bigger packaging.

Solely on fbw discus won't grow well. Hard to get beef heart? Where u stay bro?

Solely on fbw not for long time, fbw mostly is water. Discus need some higher protein food.
