Default Altum Angels with Discus & Corys

Revamped my tank recently to a simpler set up. Discus was sick during the revamp but the fins are growing back already. Feel so bad about it. Addition of corys to make the tank more lively.

Took some pictures of my AA

Tail of the left AA started rotting after I introduce it to this tank due to stress. It is growing back slowly after I started dosing some herbal antibiotics from Microbe Lift.

Nice...

Bro you have a very thick fine sand substrates, do maintain them well, as they can be a haven for harmful bact.

From all those things growing around your filter inlet and the rocks, your water seems to be having some problem. Better monitor and rectify.

Oh, this tank was previously used for planted tank. Those stuffs on the rocks & filter inlet are black brush algae which I couldnt remove them completely previously. The sand got trapped on the algae when the cories stir up the sand. But yes I do need to monitor my water parameters closely until my AA's tail is fully recovered. Thanks for your advice

These 3 altums doesnt bond very well. Serious chasing and fin nipping. Bought a big driftwood for hiding place. Added 2 altums also. The driftwood causes a huge pH drop from 7.3 to 6.5 within 4 days. Fishes seems ok as the pH dropped slowly.

Great that they are getting along. I'm lucky as I am keeping three 10 inches altums since day one and they are getting along fine.
