Default Bird found at balcony

This bird took a rest at our balcony today.
Looks kind of young.
Can anyone ID?

Likely an escapee, too used to being near people. Wild ones will not go near houses. If you let it go it might not survive. Be careful of the beak, like stapler.

Decided to keep it since no one reported lost bird at my development. Also scared if release will not survive.

This type should be pretty common here. Changi v has a lot. If it can eat, keep it. If not release it.
