So you put the axolotl in a tank without water?
Did you also forget to give a slow temperature transition? |

You are mistaken. It is not an attempt to slow metabolism, though that does occur as a by-product.Typically the cold is used to somehow help the axolotl recover. There are guides online, you will need to find them.

how could you place them out of water?
they breathe through gills right? also, they do need a chiller to thrive.

Why are you blaming the source when it is evident you don't know how to care for them? Is your tank running a chiller? I bet not

No I never put the axo out of the water, plus my house the temp Is revolve around 25c-26c.
Last time kept 1 fr 3-4yrs then die of injury frm friend then after that the fren also die. @washywashy if I don't know how to care for them,in the first place I wouldn't even have bought them.and if I don't know how to care for them why did they last years under my care?and they even bred!and I raised the fry successfully, until I sold the whole batch to my fren. |
