Great pond setup and great koi collection. Nice of you to share your pond setup.

How often do you wash your pond filter? Or is it self cleansing?

Water auto top-up 4 times a day (abt 5-10% of water), to overflow the surface protein.

1st chamber flush dry every week.
2nd chamber flush dry every 2-3 weeks depending on conditions.
3rd chamber flush dry every 2-3 mths depending on conditions.

The pond including filter is 8 ton, I'm running 2 tsunami pump which is 15ton/hr.

wow, finally show hand liao... very nice zen looking pond with flat surfaces, very neat looking.

Looking at the colours, you look showa/sanke heavy, the kohakus dun seems to stand out as the majority.

Yr koi all good shape and very high quality, and i think u made the right decision to give them more space in a rental pond in order to achieve their full potential.
