Did u DIY or design yr filtration system setup or got someone to built for you?
BTW, can share how much to built a system like yours?
Bro...I get someone to fabricate the Acrylic box. The box, I design myself. But the system is a modify copy from the Bekki shower concept. It works similar like using those toyo box or crate.

The 3 chambers is the traditional design.

If u r doing, I would be keen to involve in the brainstorming of the suitable system, but the system may or maynot works...

My pond dun cost much, as I get the wet-work contractor to do it when renovating my house. It is probably the cost of cement and tiles. No need to pay for "design fee".

The filter media are the expensive one!

Looking at the colours, you look showa/sanke heavy, the kohakus dun seems to stand out as the majority.

Yr koi all good shape and very high quality, and i think u made the right decision to give them more space in a rental pond in order to achieve their full potential.
I like Sanke most, but only got 2, and usually, I end up buying Showa, as Showa is hard to come by too.

For kohaku, so far not really satisfy with the result, except for that piece shown in the pic, body shape still good.....those "pop eye" bloodline was a disaapointment. The colour not outstanding bec I dun feed colour food.

hi,

U mean you get the normal contractor, not those specialised in koi building one? I'm interested in getting my contractor to do in my bolcany also, but scare they dunno how...

Do you put anti leak layer in your pond? Meaning the water proofing paint in your pond to prevent from water leaking?

Yes, I get the normal contractor. I provide them with the "design".
I'm using concrete cement, which is already water proof. Didn't use any other water proofing chemical or the Fiber paint.
