Salah: I couldn't do it without my teammates
Mohamed Salah wasted no time thanking his Liverpool teammates after his four goals helped hammer Watford 5-0 at Anfield on Saturday.
The Egyptian opened the scoring with a stunning goal inside the first five minutes as he left Miguel Britos on the floor before firing past Orestis Karnezis. From then on the Egyptian produced a simply stunning display by rattling in a further three to take his season's total up to an astonishing 36. Salah is now in pole position to finish as the Premier League's top scorer, with his four goals taking him four clear of Harry Kane who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury. It's the first time a Liverpool player has scored four at Anfield since Luis Suarez's quartet of goals against Norwich four years ago, but Salah talked up the role his teammates played in Saturday's win over Javi Gracia's Hornets. "I have to thank my teammates, they have helped me so I could reach this number," he told BT Sport after the game. "We just needed the three points, that is the most important thing. "We showed a lot from the last game [against Manchester United] and the important thing for us is we bounced back. "We now look forward to the next game." |

Great game...thumbs up for the team. After this season is over, will he be like another player taken away again. This time hopefully no more.

Personally I don’t think it will happen next season, but if Salah maintain his current form, Barca and Real will come knocking in a year or two. We need to start getting some silverware to retain and attract.
