Really poor first half, cannot defend, cannot pass. Then poor all went to sleep for Palace's second goal. Smalling and Lindelof could not handle Benteke and Lindelof is really poor against big forwards and still cannot head the ball.
Woke up in the second half and Rashford made a difference stretching the Palace defence. De Gea made a wonder save from the Benteke header. Took a wonder strike from Matic to win the 3 points. |

At the rate we were playing in the first half. we would have been destroyed by the top 4 teams easily and no comeback would have been on the script.
This has been our Achilles heel all along i.e. starting very poorly and always had to "chase" the game. Against top teams scoring one more goal would have been a gigantic task to win games. |

Bailly needs to start against Liverpool this weekend instead of Lindelof who needs to toughen up and practise heading (he's 1.87m)

Didnt watch the game. But the come back with injury time winning the match really thrilled me.
Long time never feel so great. Like some bro said... one game at a time. Lets focus and hope the key players are back to put up challenge.😃 |

in a nutshell, the better team lost last night which, imho, is due to naivety After taking a 1-0 lead, Spurs were still playing expansive football .... the back four was flat and push pretty high up Comparatively, when Juve took a 2-1 lead, they had 10 men behind the ball ..... sometimes all 11 men in their own half ..... Nothing to fear from this Juve side, play acting, cynical fouls ...... |

Kane was completely shackled by Chiellini and had very little opportunities. Typical Italian style when protecting their one goal advantage and it is true that Spurs manager should also share the responsibilities for the lost

Klopp trying to be "cute" saying his side would "park the bus" when playing at OT tomorrow.
Good luck to his "mind game" |
