As long they can finish within 3-5min wif 1.5 to 2hr interval should be fine.

i dont exactly count the timing... will juz throw in the pelltets bit by bit.when they stop looking 4 food while trying to swallow i will stop the feeding.

can why not? as long as can finish within 5 mins.. why dont you get an auto feeder?
With more feedings, come more WC.. haha.. sounds like spiderman..

PS: Normally, i also dont take the time for them to feed.. but i use the amount of time they "dive" down for food.. for me.. 2 times will be enough as i prefer small feeding but more meals..

i do hv a auto feeder.went to y618 to get it, quite cheap.

thinking of adding plants to the tank, which is better.... live or artificial?

Live plants better bro , cos they can help to absorb amonia , but you need to switch on your aquarium light 24/7 .

Live plants do help, only if you have plenty of it, dont get those slow growing nanas, they wont do much absorption at all ..
