Pt sodik awarna
Can someone here help verify if you have seen CITIES cert by this breeder
PT SODIK AWARNA from Indonesia? I was at a large Aquarium in the West of Singapore when I came across a Super Red with this Cert. As the Aquarium is quite a big one I was wondering if any of the Sifu here have heard of this Farm. Tried googling it but could only find a Sodik Bluesman but nothing else. The shop keeper says it is a CITIES approved farm in Indonesia, but was wondering if anyone can advise on this? |

Thanks, just worried that NEA will confiscate the fish if it is found to be illegal if I were to resell it lah...
Does anyone know if NEA has anyone we can contact to verify the certs? I remember not too Long ago, NEA would fine and confiscate Aros from Aquariums with non certified Arowanas. But seems like things are not so strict now due to oversupply maybe ? Thanks for any advise from gurus here... Cheers... |

hi bro,
its good habit to check the validity of the farm before purchase. Ive attached a list of Indonesian CITIES farm from CITIES website. https://www.cites.org/eng/common/reg/cb/ID |

Thanks Blackghost...
Seem like PT Sodik not a recognised farm. I am now wondering why is this big AQUARIUM AT SUNGEI TENGAH selling non Cities certified Aro. Worse it is using fake certs. Hopefully Aro will no longer be on endangered list, since there are so many successful smaller home breeders now, don't need CITIES for Aros Liao... |

Thanks, the cert was definitely not authentic.
The fish was a nice one but surprised to find them selling one with bad cert. Do be Wary if looking for CITIES approved cents. |
