Why bother to charge teachers and soldiers full parking rates when the schools and camps are not open for Public parking in the first place ?

I dont see why we need to charge soldiers or teachers for parking in camps or in schools. it is not as if the camps and schools are open to public for parking and that they will lose the opportunity to make money from that if the car park lots are parked by soldiers and teachers.

I wonder.. can the respective PRINCIPALS waive the Carpark fees/put to Sch's expenses/budget.

I mean, ya.. the govt can charge but the sch principals are the ones managing the individual schools ma... can they set a budget to help the teachers to absorb the costs?

It's really not right to charge teachers parking, IMO.

Singaporeans are very forgetful lot.... no need 5 years to have candies

What we ask, we will get, but than e price we pay will be higher than cost.... free for soldiers and teachers, but don't know what will come back from everyone else.

BUT if you are them, you get it... until the public starts probing and e ugly truth is revealed.

MPs usually just parked in reserved loading and unloading bay or any nearest space. Seen MBT parked on walkway, cut thru traffic light at Tampines Mart instead of ample parking lots in it.
