Possible...juz make sure the koi is well fed...if not they will go suck on the rays

Ensure that your BDs are smaller than your koi. I had BDs blanketing over my koi and eating them live.

Gold fish are slower swimmrrs than koi and bd grows much bigger. I have seen koi and rays together in a hug pond but I wont advice to do so. Koi by nature are bottom feeders and likes to disturbs other increasing the chance to get poke by the ray:x
