Hi TS, decent catch you have there.
I notice that, you have placed the green mat looking base in some of your tanks. I guess, it's for beautify your tank. Imo, it's not advisable to do so, as it might trap the fish poo which makes its difficult to syphon, which might result to the water to turn fowl. |

That is a filter sponge. Prolong the cleanliness of the water. So far the bettas are healthy in this set up. One actually with me for near 2 years
