Happy new year everyone My aros tail problem still here . I did notice with more water change it would get better, but it comes back. i removed the crushed corals and there was also improvement, but when i added back crushed corals the tail problem also worsened again? also it gets worse duuring summer months when temperature is high . now trying again with azoo ectoparasite treatment. anybody has success with this kind of problem? Bro Alvinleong, has your arowana recovered with calcium sulfate eatment? |

if WC helps then u should really check your water parameters and think of upgrading your filtration system.

if CC alone affects then check hardness of water. by right i've never experienced any problems with CC before.. but since u said removal and addition directly affects the condition... and coral chips mainly release calcium and carbonates.. the only direct link would be water too hard or ph goes up too much too fast after adding CCs.
what's your ph with and without CC? and how fast does that change in ph occur? |

ph of tap water is 7.5
but i think our tap water here is soft. I'll try to test regularly to see how fast it drops. might be my crushed corals are already old. |
