Eheim 1264? replace?
Do you think i need to replace my pump? It seems its flowrate has diminish over the time. I've been using the pump for 5 years? Or just changing the propeller will do?

May I know how do u guys clean the propeller shaft? Just wipe the exterior or use a small stick n insert in the hole where the white think tube used to be located prior cleaning?

Just cleaned the pump, I don't see any difference in the flowrate. Do u think changing the propeller will improve the flowrate or the unit itself is not functioning properly?

Have u clean the 2 long rubber tubes? Those are the first to clogged and u would be surprised at how much difference they make before and after cleaning.

the magnet on the shaft will deteriorate over time. 5 years is good enough time to change. check out how much does a new shaft cost and decide whether it is worth it to change or buy a new pump.

I'm scared that if I change the shaft it won't improve the flowrate. |
