Tank chipped at corner...still safe? <advise needed>
Advise needed.
Accidentally chipped the bottom corner of my 40gal tank. As shown in the photo, the chip never extend pass the silicone, I can actually peel off that little chip if I want... Is it still safe? Anyone had this kind of experience before? Can share your experience or advise? Thanks >.< Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My advice is as long as you have doubts over the integrity of the tank, then just don't use. No point use already then everyday have to worry if the tank will shatter or crack or leak. Just get another tank for peace of mind.

just go hardware shop buy one silicone, glue it back, then apply silicone to the other 3 corners... thats what I did to all my 2 feet tanks...
To me this tank is still usable... but not very sellable |
