for the past few years , I have been monitoring imports of Chinese bred ryukins ... well, to my untrained eyes , some of them quality are so 'good' (to my untrained eyes) , that I'll easily think that they are from Japan ... any finer points in ryukin selection ? |

Ryukin from China now comes in Long tail, medium tail and the short tail version. Hump must be pronunced and the overall shape of the body got to round. |

Actaully the other time I went Mainland at Pasir Ris they got alot of Ryukins. They got both the long and short tail strains. Personally I prefer the short tail type....be it Ryukin, Black Moore or Telescope. |

same here, the short tails strains looks cuter . Find tat long tail tends to bend and somehow curl if water condition is bad.
am i right? |
