Default eating some buffet can be very unhygenic

One angmor claimed what he saw at buffet in china. Eat food with sauce, hold with fingers and licked the fingers. After that go to q and hold the tongs with same fingers, then pass tong to next person.

At first, i just thought, oh china not surprising. Now i recalled, i went to a local bbq buffet restaurant, what happened there was quite similar.

Was on Superstar Virgo once. At supper, saw a south asian guest picking up all kinds of bread to smell and put back....using his bare hands.

In Jurong there is a Japanese-Korean hotpot / BBQ rest. with cooked food and raw seafood sharing the same counter, side by side.

If you see how they handle the food prior to serving, you probably won't eat too...

I once saw a barista walk out of the washroom after peeing and headed back to the cafe (in front of the washroom) brewing expensive coffee for all you trendy expensive coffee lovers...

agreed. we have no control on how clean they are and obviously, cooking on a mass scale, they can cut corners.
