Default OHF top tray!

Hi guys,

After seeing one bro post and asking about his OHF I kena poison! Never tried OHF before and wanted to have it.
Since I've got a spare 322 tank with internal filter only, I decide to replace it with an OHF!
When down to aqua hobby and seek advice how and what to do. Its really easy and fun leh! haha

Bought a Dymax pump

Add an easy accessible top try for the sponge, so don't have to take out the pipe and all

you might want to tape up the joints to prevent accidental dislodge and cause flooding.

I have been used OHF for years, TS may do a little DIY-Double inlets to make the flow distribution more evenly within the OHF box to achieve optimum result.

In addition, when keeping fish which they like to jump (Arowana is an example), you may cover the open hole firmly to prevent fish jump out from there.

Actually the top tray need not use this cause when u change the wool can just pull.out from the top.
but for the media ones will be good to have ...I notice my media trays get choke after sometime and removing them to rinse its a hassle.
