In addition, when keeping fish which they like to jump (Arowana is an example), you may cover the open hole firmly to prevent fish jump out from there.
Hi, very interesting set up. Can post some more pictures about your set up please? main how did you connect with pump outlet?

I have some questions. As you can see from the OHF base plate.

Why is there a small partition there ? Why are there 2 small holes drilled there ?
Where are there 2 square slots opened at the sides of the base plate at that end ?
I am not allowed to post any image.

I wonder which submersible or external pump I should get. Any suggestions ?
I prefer external pumps as they don't generate heat within the tank but was told that the external pumps can be noisy.

Aro77 - Are the top sliding trays still available from you ? I want 3 sets.

can show pic? Probably to hold the weight of the tray above. imagine the weight of the media with water on top. The holes are for the water to flow to the outlet?

Yes Rigil, awaiting his response.. I think with a 2inlet pipping across the ohf, it make water more evenly distributed throughout and no dead space within the medias. That is something which i really hope to achieve..
