That vulgarity issue is all over the news sites leh.

And students today and yester-years are different and harder to manage. Nothing unknown or just gossip news site news.

Actually I still don't know how this scheme going to work. People will usually clear all their entitled paid leave before taking no pay leave a last resort as this affect living sustenance. This is only applicable to people who has consumed all their paid leave or telling people to take no pay leave as maternity leave and forget about their annl leave.

How or will it work, I think it should be something good for soon to be parents. Any parents of a newborn will welcome any additional leaves, even if it means unpaid once they exhaust their entitlements.

If we look at the current paid maternity leave structure, 16 weeks + 2 weeks (likely dad) + 2 weeks (1 each), and 2 weeks unpaid (1 each), that 2 weeks unpaid would have exhaust quite a bit of their annual entitled leaves.

Once a person runs out of entitled leave, will the company allow them to take unpaid leave? So this pilot leave scheme is actually something good.

Don't think so one needs to clear all leaves before taking this unpaid leave, as on and off the new born will need to see doctor for inoculation, examination, etc.........but it's a good start for the newly weds.......
