Aquarama 2011- We thank you!

We would like to thank everyone who made the trip down to accompany us over the 4 exciting days! Thank you for bringing our modest merchandise home with you. We made lots of friends from Singapore and abroad, and we hope to build on that in the days that follow.

Please do excuse us for any lapses in service. It is a steep learning curve for us first-timers, and we look to improve. We welcome any feedback and suggestions as to how to serve you better.

We would like to make special mention of those who helped us bring it together:

Paul & Leon’s team from Sgbros and Tank Junction for their steadfast reliability and ability to deliver on-time-on-spec solutions;

Sotongman (Chris)- whose multiple-perspective photo montage communicated the flavor of the exhibition to us in a way that no written word can rival;

amiidae (Ben) & marshy (Marcius)- whose photographical magic made the Black Diamonds look their best, enthralling even the most seasoned ray hobbiysts;

Schmike (Edwin)- whose audit of our website would no doubt fortify Waterbats’ position on the web;

D24 (Steven)- for being the tireless advocator for hobbyists, and for shepherding the various vendors, clubs and associates of AF and AFC including Waterbats;

Alvin Koh & jwhtan (John Barney Tan)- without whom there wouldn’t exist this ubiquitous digital platform that so many including Waterbats have come to call home;

And not least to everyone who chipped in- sent us your well wishes, brought us a drink, helped us hand out a card, wore our shirts on exhibition days, lent us a net or a container, brought a friend to the booth, brought us to meet vendors, held the lift door for the rays who were sitting in boxes, held back a harsh word even when we deserved it- we thank you for your kindness and patience- we couldn’t have done it without all of you.
