No worries bro.. The thing is that, this would make the maintenance very troublesome. Also, you might be releasing back the wastes that is already in the sponge if you want to remove it for cleaning. This is the reason why I'm using the mesh.

Here's an update on this setup. Was battling brown algae and 'burnt' mini fissidens due to excessive and uncontrolled lighting. All my fault. In the end, got a horned nerite and red-nosed shrimps to clear it all up! Added some glass cups for some Echinodorus tenellus 'Red'and topped up the powder soil. Now just waiting for a good time for me to acclimatise the selected pieces of PRL from my line and let them do the work. Stay tuned for my PRL!

Looks good - all set for the PRL! First time I see e.tenellus planted in cups though. Oh... and upgrade the lights to Aquasky!

I think TS alrdy stock up enough few months back!
