actually.... will drown.
coz frogs absorb water thru their skin... so constant soaking will coz them to absorb too much and actually sort of drown. Thats why the froggies and BF sold for feeders are kept in v shallow water... |

Technically frogs cannot drown in water because they breathe through their skin. The skin does absorb water due to a natural process called osmosis, in which water molecules travel through a semi-permeable membrane. Skin is such a membrane. Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) water also utilises this process. However, the absorption of water by the frog's skin will stop because osmosis requires one area of higher concentration of water and another area of lower concentration of water. Hence, after a while the skin of the frog is too saturated with water to absorb any more so osmosis will cease.
