Read van persie commented on Alexis Sanchez failure in the team.
He was not able to assume his usual role when the team was into defensive playing style. Hope the new setup will trigger his hunger for goals again. |

If last night team selection was a dry-run for the upcoming Chelsea game, then I am very sceptical that Ole has found his "new" team
Matic was abysmal and really has no place in the line up. Personally I still think AM is not "aggressive" enough as a forward (with just flashes of speed) Jessie(though he scored), altho full of energy but can be pretty aimless and hardly able to dribble pass defenders. Rashford should work on his finishing. Yes he has the most potential to succeed Still find Shaw playing the Jose style (i.e lots of back passing) Fred, tends to be reckless AP...not consistent throughout the 5 pre-season games. Aggressive but lacks discipline in position. Mata...should only be used sparingly when we are winning cos he slows down the game too much AY...least said the better (yet Ole has confirmed the captain's armband is his this new season!!!) Daniel James, blessed with speed but not accuracy in crossing Honestly I still believe Ole has not much confidence in the youngsters like Chong, Gomez, Greenwood cos he did not give them much exposure in this preseason games. |

City won their first cup beating Liverpool on penalties. Liverpool were in total command in the 2nd half but C.Bravo from City in goal was good.
City converted all their 5 kicks whereas Bravo saved one of Liverpool's 5 kicks. It looked like game was played at Anfield with majority of supporters were in Red and most left after Liverpool lost in the penalty kick Last edited by lenghan; 05-08-2019 at 01:15 AM. |

He does not want to join us plus he is too expensive on his wage demand.. Also that BF deal could be off as it is now "claimed" that he was not on Ole's plan????? |

Do not know what is OS agenda.
Its gonna be a result oriented to stay in game. If he is comfortable with just 3 replacements then we just see outcome. Maybe due to budget or management policy. Final few days to see new season. Game on. |

It's been reported and confirmed that Ole pulled the plug for Dybala...reason being Dybala's dithering attitude as he only want players who want to play for the club.

Maguire signs for United
Manchester United is delighted to confirm the signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City. Harry signs on a six-year contract, with the option to extend for a further year. The 26-year-old England international joined Leicester in 2017 and has made 76 appearances, scoring five goals. Harry Maguire said: “I am delighted to have signed for this great club. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicester and would like to thank everyone at the club, and the fans, for their fantastic support over the past two seasons. However, when Manchester United come knocking on your door, it is an incredible opportunity. ”From my conversations with the manager, I am excited about the vision and plans he has for the team. It’s clear to see that Ole is building a team to win trophies. I am now looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and getting the season started.” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Harry is one of the best centre-backs in the game today and I am delighted we have secured his signature. He is a great reader of the game and has a strong presence on the pitch, with the ability to remain calm under pressure - coupled with his composure on the ball and a huge presence in both boxes - I can see he will fit well into this group both on and off the pitch. ”He has a great personality and is a fantastic addition to the club. “I would like to welcome Harry to Manchester United and we are looking forward to working with him as we prepare for the new season.” |
