There are many causes to fin rot. You will need to share with us your setup, water change and feeding information.

By the way, I'm not expert. Only providing my guess.

not expert but specialise in guppy ma

my setup with 1 bio sponge filter. no more liao

daily wc 50%

feed tetra bits, sometimes fbw.

With above information, Seem alright. I will zoom into feeding. In particular, tetra bits. How often you feed? Do you clear the waste and excess food?

A step backward, what is the tank size and quantity of fish? Do you aged the water? Conditioner? Salt?

Feed twice per day. Morning and night

Yes feed little amount only. Tank size is those 1ft five plan, 5 fishes each tank. Yes, definitely remove those excess food.

My guess will be your water change. Since I do not know the type of conditioner you are using. Therefore, would suggest you aged water with conditioner over night and if possible add aquarium salt.

From what I read, water is treated, 50% wc daily, with sponge filter, not over crowded, feed little, etc.. You should not have problem.

You feed tetra bits, isn't it for Discus? I ever tried feeding tetra bits to my culls and the water get dirty very easily.

Males eat little, FBW is enough to keep them full, tetra bits mayb a bit too much for them. Flakes mayb a better choice.
