yea with emperors, minimal deco is the best. they are too powerful even at just a mere 1ft size.
too bad these days dont really see them anymore. |

With further readings on some articles on emperors, came across a good write-out from 2 Swedish that manage to spawn them in a 800L tank. Would like to share with you all....who knows...maybe you guys that possess 6ft and above may wanna try too.

Fronts and Alto Tank: 4ft x 1.5 x 1.5 (Burundi, Moba, M.Blue and Comps) Trophs Tank: 4ft x 1.5 x 1.5 ( Trophs Canary Cheek, Ikola, Bemba, moliro, duboisi and Tretos) African Malawi Mixed Tank: 3ft x 1.5 x 1.5 (Assorted African Cichlids Zebra Tilapia, Red Jewel and Assorted Malawi Cichlids Bubblebee, Peacock etc) |

Yea...I suppose so as most cichlids tend to pull out plants and redecorate décor. Honestly I don't mind keeping them at juveniles stage just for fun/experience though.
