Just to add to bro Kit's comments, note the white patch on the ranchu's tail. That's most likely carp pox. You can get rid of it by raising the temp of your water as you quarantine your fish.

For $6, it is consider a decent catch and a piece to learn from. The head and buffalo cheeks are very nice. But the curve is not to my liking. Fort your next purchase, put more emphasis on a smoother, gradual curve. Headgrowth should always be a later priority. Because you can always improve the headgrowth by pumping bloodworms, but the curve will always be permanent.

This piece is definitely worth the money . Look at the body shape , very proportionate . Maybe you can observe its swimming posture .
