Technically can eat la. But not used in our local Chinese turtle soup. Plus it's kinda insulting and hurting to say our beloved PNTs are food.

Those in australia do eat them.

Once a relative did ask me if my ray was for eating when it get bigger. I told her by then the ray will worth $x. I asked her if she can afford to eat it.

Looks like Batagur/Callagur sp.
Either is critically endangered. Nice!

yes bro johannes, taken at mandai zoo..cant remember taken at which animal exhibits also...quite a few turtles in their various exhibits with glass tanks..
