I really hope someone who self breed CBR can do an experiment test out one batch groom with both pellets and FBW and one batch purely on pellets to see the diff in growth.
any self breeder here can share your experience? |

hmm the strangest thing just happened to my tank. while doing a thorough cleaning of the tank and a few random pot and rock of plants just now, found a few live bloodworm wiggling on the floor from the rock when i was spraying clean the plants with water. Has anyone encountered this before? they are bright red colour and look exactly like bloodworms. I using AquaM fbw.
sorry no pics cos was stunned and reacted by washing them down the drain. |

On the same token, I noticed that the Ranchus and Orandas that we first bring home have nice wen development (from the farm). However, after several months, their wens seem to have stopped developing or shrunk. Therefore, the logical explanation could be that we are not feeding as much as the breeders do, or they are feeding them with special high protein food. What's your opinion? |

not sure how true it is? some say by delaying water change can also encourage wens growth. I currently keeping 4 TVR for 5 months already. Purely feeding on pellets. Hopefully, I can find sometime to post some pic and let you guys comment on its wens growth without FBW or algae. |
