Default Slow Suffering Till Death.. Any Cure?

My fish got a White Patch with some blood on it..
Tried medication but it doesn't seem to cure and the white patch is getting bigger.. Even the Fin and Tails also got some blood as if the virus is eating him up slowly..
This happen to my ex fish and it die 1 mth later after got this disease.
Any bro exp. this? any cure to it?
It really hurt me seeing the fish suffer till death..
I tried to upload Photobuket but cannot..

it happen to one of my catfish..
The last time it happen is abt 2yrs back.. and that cat did not survived..

The wound is really scary..

A link to the photo? Sounds like fungus or ulcer disease...

If it pass on best is to disinfact the whole entire setup, medias and all. Then restart your fish keeping again

One way to handle this is to PP bomb the whole tank... Risky technique. But potassium permanganate kills bacteria, fungus, virus. Only use if u cannot isolate whats the problem.
Discus keepers will be familiar with this technique. But have to be very careful when using it.
