boyt,

The 2ft HO-T5 is 24W compared to the D***x's 20W. Even though it's just 4W more consumption, the intensity is probably twice. And the same warning goes for using the HOs on the NO ballasts. You do so at your own risk.

And will it work also for a 2ft Dymax T5 light?
Thanks.

Can bros post some pic of the ballast of a t5 HO (2 feet)? How much does the HO ballast cost ah? And how do we change it? Got wire all this, and wire voltage/current also don't can match anot, hehe, I'm a noob in lighting. BTW I would like to convert dymax t5 (20 watt)(2 feet) to T5 HO (24 watt). Btw 24 watt is already the highest for 2 feet T5 right?

These are the wattages available for T5 HO: 2 feet 24w, 3 feet 39W, 4 feet 54W & 5 feet 80w.
You can get a E- ballast, endcaps(some endcap come with wiring) & DIY it yourself. Be caution in Electrical if u r not sure to DIY!

You have to look at the ballast wattage rating and decide if it is for HO or NO tubes, don't think it writes if its HO or NO.

Example: If it states its for 39W tubes, then its for a 3' HO T5 tube.
