Keeping Rams with African Malawi Chilids?
Hi I would like to know if it is safe and ok to keep Rams with African Malawi Chilids?
My chilids are pretty bossy and I am worried that they will bully the rams. All advice and comments are welcomed. Thanks. |

African cichlids can grow 3 to 4 times bigger than rams, putting these two together might be putting the rams into danger of being bullied and even killed, if per chance you still want to put them together.....why not have a separator and assess from there, you can see the aggression and then decide.
Hope that helps. Thkq |

Even with a divider, the unsuitable water parameter will kill the Rams sooner rather than later. Definitely not recommended to keep in same tank.

They're fine. Only time there's aggression is during spawning. Like all good cichlid parents, Rams are very protective of their young. Come too near sure kena.
