Default giving birth

Hi, this morning i saw my tank litter with eggs... seems like my oranda is giving birth. However i notice my ranchus are chasing the oranda and was trying to kiss its ass!.. anyone knows whats the reason? they wana eat the the eggs?

i have since isolate the oranda and the eggs. One more question, how do i know if the eggs are fertile?

sorry no pics, i found out from the web what the chasing was about..

"Once the chasing begins which usually happens early in the morning, you will find small tiny blobs of round-shaped eggs scattered everywhere in the tank. You should immediately remove the parents in order to ensure high survival of the eggs because goldfish are known to consume even their own eggs. A single female goldfish can produce close to several thousands of offspring at once and therefore do expect to obtain a large brood of fish fry in single spawn."

lol now i know i got 3 males and one female in the tank..
