Yes, already bought the Arm n hammer pure baking soda. Not too sure how much to add so that ph wont surge thou. Will try 1/4 teaspoon for a start n monitor the PH n NH level. Thks...

After added in half teaspoon of BS yesterday, the PH just measured as 6.5! (measure 3 times to confirm with half and hour interval) Wondering why PH can increase so much with just half teaspoon of BS! Anybody? Parameters as follow, Ammonia remains 8ppm with API NH3 / NH4 test kit Nitrites 0 with JBL 5 in 1 teststrips Nitrates 25 with JBL 5 in 1 teststrips GH 4-7 with JBL 5 in 1 teststrips KH increase to 2 with API KH test kit Think its time to add BB liao... |
