But are they up to it to make it to 1st team.
We need to identify and cement the 1st team players and form a 2nd team good enough on standby else will be on chopping board from agent advantage.
The irony.....these academy players all too inpatient to break into first team football and if they see limited chances, will leave for elsewhere.
We had so many of these young players come and more often then not, leaving the club cos they do not see any chances of being selected to first team.

Its gonna be tough and seemingly not able to replicate the success like class of 92'.
And its a fierce competition in the league with the top 2 has very strong 2nd team.
Hope to recruit good players to give them a run for top spot.

Many reports on Man Utd making a new offer of £350K per week for DDG, one that the goalie had requested to be on par with Sanchez.

some say one year, some say two years, some say three years
some say paycut

believe what u prefer to believe

Apparently everyone is upset because of wage differences, because Alexis Sanchez earns too much
so Juan Mata should get a wage cut to make him happy to sign a two year contract
while De Gea gets a pay increase to 350k pounds per week

Can help me understand this logic ?

Sorry cannot help you.

I do not know how much Juan Mata got his pay cut though maQny reports stated he will be getting £45K per week.

But I got news of his contract renewal from the Official announcement.
I too lazy to copy the whole article.
Here is part of it and the link to it.

https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detai...-at-man-united

The Manchester United is delighted to announce that Juan Mata has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until June 2021, with the option to extend for a further year.

During his time at United, Mata has won an Emirates FA Cup, a League Cup, the UEFA Europa League and FA Community Shield.

The midfielder has been capped by Spain on 41 occasions and was a member of the squad that won the 2010 World Cup, as well as the 2012 European Championship......

Decoy to cushion the intesity of demand for pay rise?
JM lead to show them he is willing to get cut.
Btw seems the PB and DDG saga have died down.
RM dont want to fork out the high price.

This PB saga really jialat.
The latest I read was he called up Sarri that he wanted to ho back to Juv and with OLe wanted the Man Utd board to se him to the highest bidder.
Same for the De Ligt, now claimed he wanted to join Juv.
So better to wait for the official news for PB and De Ligt

While waiting for the transfer news, it is great to see our youngsters such as McTominay, Perreira and Greenwork preparing hard for the new season on their own before they report officially for the pre season training.
