Red arowana in bare tank?
My cousin poisoned me to buy red arowana. But my tank is bare tank with with white colour base. Anyone keep red arowana in bare tank? Is it possible and can bring the red colour out?

Hi Cool dude, your tank is white and bare it would be a better condition for rearing XB then Red. Red wise very difficult as you need to tan in your tank. If you don't tan than better off keeping XB at least you can see the shine.

Possible to hv good colour tone with bare tank.
Good genes just as important. Next week update my SR from VIP Farm : no tanning, tank has river sand base.

Also, red can't have high level shine as XB ? If keeper just wanna keep a Aro just for the shine, any type of Aro should suffice especially red scale pearl aro( sry I do not know the full/exact name), that would be even a better choice compare to XB. |
