Recommended Canister Filter For 2ft Tank
Hi,
I'm thinking of keeping angel fish com with 2 X L333 pleco for my 2ft tank (90 by 30 by 30 cm) ~55litres. I have never used canister filter before but would like to try. I've read that the ideal turnover rate of a tank should be 6X the tank capacity. That works out to be about 300l~350l/hr. But I'm not too sure how the "pump output" works. Does higher pump output e.g. 500l/hr mean a stronger current? In that case, is it advisable to get a 500l/hr canister filter for angels? Or could the flow rate of canister filter be adjusted? |

90x30x30 is more like 311' if you got very strong outflow, perhaps you can use rainbar to disperse and spread out the flow

I'm using 2x 2213.. One connected to UVC and also a Hydra 20.. SO a total of 3 filter and 1 UV filter for a 2x1x1.5 for my L46 breeding tank

For sharing, I'm having a 2x1x1 tank. Using a eheim 2211, hydra20 and a air pump sponge filter for six discus (overstock but able to maintain good water perimeter)

I am using 2217 with control outflow.... A bit powerful but overpower is better than under for me.
