Yes I agree the driftwood does take up alot of the swimming space; esoecially for the bigger fishes...

But it serves another good purpose as it offers shelter and also acted as obstacles when my Aros, tigers and EBHs are having their fights. Managed to greatly reduce the frequency of fights and injuries substained

My tank is a 6x2x2.5. Drift wood size is about 5x1.

Biggest fish in the tank is the African Aro about 22". The rest of the Aro is about 16-20". Swimming around still got space for them to turn and swim through the gaps in between the DW
