One more thing to add, bigger dymax or dolphin HOF can be consider too if budget constrain.

I have decided to get Eden 501 for my 1 foot nano cube. I think Eheim will be too "overwhelming" for my small tank?

Like this? I used a fishing line to stitch the bottom gap of the sponge after pulling it down. Will look around for better net-bag.

yes bro.. this is good.. use sponge is good cos firstly can cultivate BB.. secondly.. there are microscopic food for the shrimps that can grow on the sponge.. soon u can see ur shrimps whole day go the sponge to eat liao..
