Hi SIRIUS,
Wax worms are shorter than sw but very fat, soft & white in color , as i know they are very high in proteins. hope some of the members can post the pic for me, thanks in advance guys. |

hmm
Hi Twin
Wax worms were the first thing i fed to my silver as the lfs was all out of superworm. it gobbled up about 6 or 7 of the little buggers right away... but the next day i came out and found 4 whole worms floating at the top of the water all stuck together, i can only assume that he was unable to digest them and regurgitated the worms. after that he wont even look at a wax worm. since then i have been able to aquire superworm wich he enthusiasticly inhales, and i never see them again btw here is a pic of one, they are alot softer bodied than superworm, not much of an exoskeleton Last edited by JimMiller; 11-08-2002 at 02:25 PM. |
