A few words of advice.
1. CRS/BDS and most other shrimps, be it low grade or not, they need cooler water. I tried having yellow shrimps (cherry) in non chilled tank. They start dying at 29-30 degrees, and I realised it was the temperature. 2. Bulk release into any tank can crash the system, resulting in deaths. Buy and release in smaller quantity unless your BB can handle the load. (eg put in more fishes first... as you are releasing shrimps, remove the fishes, so the bio-load doesn't crash the system). |

so far tested some slowly,my finding is 1) fire red shrimp 70% survival and start to hv shrimplets, conclusion success 2)bds 20% survival and no shrimplets yet, conclusion unknown 3)crs same as bds result so thought of introducing more bds&crs to increase the chances of mating.i am not too worry about the water parameters because i hv confident is above standard. cheers happy shrimp keeping |
