Manchester United have agreed a £1.28m (1.5m euros) fee with Inter Milan for defender Ashley Young.
It is understood the deal includes an add-on fee, which will be activated if Inter win Serie A this season. |

Young departure sealed
Manchester United have agreed to sale of club captain Ashley Young to Inter Milan for £1.28million (€1.5m). The full-back is expected to complete a medical in the next few days before signing an 18-month contract. Nerazzurri agreed personal terms with Young last week but have now ironed out any creases over the move with United, according to*Sky Sport Italia*journalist Fabrizio Romano. Young's United contract was set to expire in June after nine years at Old Trafford |

painfully slow.
btw, heard Young actually forced his way out by refusing to train with the team hence OGS dropped for the games against Norwich and Wolves. that was the reason why his transfer was so fast. |

Sporting has insisted that BF plays tonight against Benfica since we have not met their original price.
So if he gets injured, the deal will fall flat on our face again!!!! |

It's turning out to be a very busy evening as far as Manchester United are concerned.
On top of Young's exit, the club have also triggered their option to extend Eric Bailly's contract by a further two years. The centre-back would otherwise have been a free agent at the end of the season. Can Bailly*establish himself at Old Trafford, or are United simply protecting their asset? |

As long as we are not willing to pay the upfront price as demanded by Sporting, the deal will contd to be delayed since they know how desperate we are.
After the game, their coach was quoted as saying they will contd to play BF this Wed in their league (as if the transfer did not happen) Yes, it is really painful to watch how we are trying (or not trying) to get our targeted player. So.....the wait continues........ |

Ending soon? better close the deal fast before the others come to disturb again.
and B.Fernandes to stay injury free after the game against Benfica Manchester United have finally broken the deadlock in negotiations for Bruno Fernandes. They are now willing to meet Sporting Lisbon's minimum fixed fee of €60m. Clubs are now just €5m apart in add-ons [Record, Portugal]. Last edited by loveikan; 18-01-2020 at 07:43 PM. |

Manchester United are prepared to walk away from a deal for Bruno Fernandes unless Sporting Lisbon drop their demands, sources have told ESPN.
Sporting want €65 million up front and another €15m in add-ons for Fernandes, a stance that has baffled United because the Portuguese side were prepared to let the midfielder join Tottenham in the summer for around €45m plus add-ons. |
