I comm my PNT with 3 indon tigers. I have heard of PNT preferring alkaline water but i have never paid attention to the PH of the water and it turn out fine. I guess it is more important to maintain the water and keep ammonia level low cos PNT shit a lot.

The only thing you have to watch out for is the shell peeling off if the pH is too low

So far my water is buffered with coral to raise the pH coz I have driftwood in the tank

Tank mates for my PNT are:

2 Parrot Fish
3 ATs
1 Gulper Catfish
1 Aguarunichthys torosus
3 Spotted Raphaels
3 Chocolate Raphaels
1 SB Albino Senegal
1 Reed Fish
1 Fire Eel
4 Kois
2 Emperor Red Hooks
1 Syno Cat
1 Golden Algae Eater
1 Apple Snail....
2 Peacock Bass
1 Irwani

Yeah yeah I know my comm is damn weird lor but I blame that on my CO. Anyhow buy fish to throw in. >.<"

It does eat feeders but very opportunistic
Eg, like the feeder swim past and it managed to catch, or it eats the feeders that died off the bottom of the tank.

They can grow up to 70cm shell length.....so actually they need a pond
But when they are small you can keep them in a tank

Mine is 8.5" and looks tiny in a 5' tank
