It is harmless. Dw still new. After awhile you will not see these white stuff anymore and it will be smooth and nice then. No need big sucker fish. IMO, small otto does the job better. Otto around $1.50 only...

I have got a 12inch albino sucker but its too violent to put with my fragile fish. Will small little feeder shrimp do that job? It will act as a.feeder to my fish as well.

Shrimp never try before. What do you have in your tank? If you want less violent can get algae eater.. Won't grow too big. Max 2-3 inch?

Feeder shrimp likely to produce more waste and hard to maintain in usual tank. As they likely to need a chiller. Otto is small. Easy to keep and good maintenance fish for ur tank and wood.
